While attending the ISSA/Interclean international cleaning convention in Chicago, Illinois, in 2010, our founder, Carla Holmes, heard Debbie Sardone speak about the organization that she had founded to help provide free maid services to women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Carla decided then and there that D&C Cleaning, Inc. would become a Cleaning for a Reason partner, and we have been ever since.

Nearly every single person has been affected by cancer in some way. We’ve had to watch loved ones endure extremely rough treatments while praying that they survive to see another day. Women, by nature, tend to be the caretakers in the family and they assume most of the household duties. The cleanliness of your home should be last thing on your mind when you’re in the fight for your life. But let’s face it – we all feel better and rest easier when our home is clean.
